Kamakshi Bhavnani is a 15 year old entrepreneur, environmentalist, award winning artist, Junior PADI certified diver, member of the Climate Action Hong Kong, Vice chairperson of Us for Planet, project coordinator for Hong Kong Ocean Youth and founder of Youth Ocean Alliance, an organisation focused on creating global network of young ocean ambassadors working on citizen science and conservation projects in order to conserve and protect our oceans.

 

Kamakshi is a changemaker and has worked on several social and environmental issues like diabetes, mental health in teens, STEM education for girls, coral bleaching, oil spill in Bangladesh, biodiversity, climate action.

 

Kamakshi believes that young people can change the world and seeks every opportunity to inspire young people to believe in themselves and take action. Climate Action HK has been a great way to support and promote the action that is being taken by young people in Hong Kong.

Bhavani熱心改變社會，曾探討環境與社會等不同範疇問題，如糖尿病、青少年精神問題、女性科創教育、珊瑚污染、孟加拉漏油問題、生物多樣性及公民氣候變化行動。

 

她深信青年能為社會、世界改善貢獻，並每每致力導引青年為此行動。Climate Action Hong Kong正是支持和推廣香港青年為環保事業努力之良方。
